Dijon Bourgogne Airport (DIJ)
Airlines, Terminals and Facilities
(Dijon, Burgundy, France)
Dijon Bourgogne Airport operates a single, dual-level terminal that deals speedily and efficiently with both arrivals and departures. Scheduled flights operate to a small number of French and domestic UK locations, while during the summer season, chartered flights operate to several European cities.
The airport's information desk is situated on the ground floor of the facility and is manned by English-speaking staff that can assist passengers with matters such as lost property, baggage services, loud speaker announcements and tourist information. Dining and refreshments are provided at the Le Petit Prince bar and restaurant, while a shop sells newspapers, books and magazines.
Two ATMs can be in the terminal building, while telex and fax facilities are also on hand. There are no banks or post offices at the airport.
Disabled persons' toilets can be found in various parts of the terminal, while access to upper levels for the wheelchair bound is provided by lifts.
Of note, ramps facilitate wheelchair access in other parts of the airport that have raised or lowered levels.
This commercial airport operates as a joint civilian base, with Eastern Airways operating here since the summer of 2010. The principal destinations served by Eastern Airways include:
